Getting to be a certain age. 😉 my wife and I decided to try a powered adjustable bed to make sleeping more comfortable.
The darn thing really helps. A surprise side effect is how much easier it is to haul out of bed with the head end raised up. Bad hip and knees can be a challenge. Picture shown is for a Queen size. We bought the King size with separate adjustments. Glad we tried it.
Not an ad for the company. It just happens to be the first image I saved.

That was a long time ago, my friend. We both sleep in recliners nowadaze. Tough to get much going in a recliner with two old people. Hips, knees, and back issues.

If I were 20, 30, or maybe even 40 yo, we likely would TRY, tho........

I've had one for years. I like to start my night with the head and legs raised and at some point in the night I'll lower it and side sleep. The built in massage is a nice feature. One of the side benefits is that it is very easy to make the bed. No bending or lifting heavy mattresses.

Truth be told we almost spend as much time sleeping in the recliners watching tv as in the new bed.
9pm is a late late night. Party on, lol.
