Power Shovel

I’m lucky that 1) we usually only need to plow or shovel 2 or 3 times a season and 2) I have one neighbor with a large lawn tractor and bucket plus guy across the alley has a 4 wheeler with blade.

So ….. I’m left with only about 60 feet of sidewalk plus “clean up” around the vehicles and close to the house and entry doors. I’ve only used this Power Shovel once but it did a perfect job and I didn’t have to stoop and lift and throw the snow.

I put the $300 paid for the Power Shovel right up there with health insurance and a rain suit in the Harley bags….. stuff I pay good money for praying I’ll never need to use it!

I saw an add on Texas craigslist one time. It was clearly a snow blower attachment for a Gravely tractor, but the guy thought it was a leaf blower!

Made me wonder how a comercial snow blower ended up in the desert?

We had an old Simplicity 2 stage that we used to blow sawdust into the storage bin in our horse barn when I was a kid. Beat shoveling!

I have one of those Old Toro Power Shovels with a gas 2 Stroke motor on it......Freakin awesome design....wish they still made them that way....
