Powder availability maybe looking up...maybe?

Local Cabela's had HP38, HS6, and Win 231 shotgun/pistol powders in stock yesterday and today. Guy from local IDPA club messaged me yesterday 'cause he knew I was out of powder. I picked up two pounds (the limit) yesterday evening...then decided to go back at lunch today. They not only still had some the guy was restocking those powders and shelf was still full. So I picked up two more pounds of HS-6. Four pounds should hold me for 4-6 months unless I go crazy attending matches this spring.

Maybe someday we'll see Power Pistol in stock...

Did they have any 8 lb. containers? If you can justify buying that much, it usually saves quite a bit per lb. over the one lb. container prices.

No, all they had was 1#...well...now that I think about it I didn't even ask if they had 8# in the back. I doubt it, though.

Seems like the manufacturers are taking turns. For a while the only pistol powder I was finding was Alliant. Now it's Hogdgon.

I was pleased to see that Hogdgon appears to be going back to one pound bottles, rather than 14 oz. Hope it's not a case of old "new stock".
