I was at my favorite gun store putting the last money down on a 44 mag Bisley. When I saw a red Ruger box laying on some junk behind steve, I asked what the box was.he set it up on the counter and said it came in that morning. inside was a near mint MKI with all the paper work and original sales receipt. Slurping the drool from my lip i asked how much he said how does 180$ sound I said deal. I gota wait 5 days til i can pick it up so i dont have the serial no. or other info just yet, but i wanted a complete set now i have a MKI,II,and III with 4 3\4" BBls i just love em!

I figure 180$ isnt a bad price for a complete package right?

When i turned 21 i bought a MKIII i took it to my property to shoot it i stepped out of my truck there was a crow in a ash in the Swale i slipped the magazine in of CCI mini mags I aimed just high of his head and shot...He toppled over! just my luck i had noone to whitness it i ranged the tree at 63 yards beleive it or not but first shot first kill and that is the day i fell in love with Ruger handguns

I'd say you did very well... A 44 mag Bisley and a great price on a Mark I! I (we) look forward to some pictures!

IF is is a 4 3/4" pistol it is NOT a MKI but a RUGER STANDARD MODEL. All MKI pistols were/are target pistols with adjustable target sights etc.

:D Hi Casey! If it's got fixed sights its the standard auto. Bill Ruger's original idea that started the whole company. I've got one standard auto, and a stainless fixed sight Mark II. I take them both to the range and you can't decide which one shoots better. That's a good price for a fixed sight gun in decent shape. You will probably end up shooting it more than any gun you own, unless you get a 10/22 and some hi cap mags! Enjoy

No question you did fine.

I'll take a MKI any day for $180.00.

Good work.

Enjoy it.
