Picked up a sweet rifle tonight

Got a great deal on this Hawkeye in 264 win Mag with a Leupold VX-L 4.5-14x50, looks fired very little with no scratches or wear on the rifle or scope. I love the 264!

Sweet gun in an awesome caliber!
I’m not much for adding new caliber's these days but I would definitely welcome a 264 in the right gun to my safe.

I’m trying hard not to buy multiple rifles chambered for the same cartridge but…
The 264 WM is just a great cartridge, the Barnes TTSX is an excellent bullet as it is easy to achieve proper velocity. I’ve killed quite a few deer and speed goats with the 264 in a M700 Sendero. For up to mule deer size game it is hard to beat IMO.

I hunted with a buddy that had a old 700 BDL in 264. Had a dark gray finished stainless barrel. I think it was all original.
Sure could tell when he let one rip!
