Permit renewal

Received my renewed Utah Concealed Firearm Permit in the mail today. Good till 2023. No matter if I could obtain a permit from Maryland ( where I live) or Massachusetts (where I own a home), I am still better off with a Utah permit. MD and MA resident permits are not recognized by as many states as the Utah non-resident.

Works for me. Have had mine since we moved here (Utah) in 2005. Frankly no one has ever asked to see it. But we can open carry anyway. Be nice to have when you travel.

Some states have adopted a policy of not honoring an out of state permit that is not the carriers state of residence.

Glad Georgia is a shall issue state.

That's good Frank. How'd you get on to that? I really like my Idaho Enhanced certificate, it covers me for 37 states. I'm going to try to get Oregon this year as well.

The last I saw, any state that borders Alabama will honor an Alabama permit.

Pennsylvania is almost completely boxed-in by anti-gun states. NY, NJ, DE, MD. Funny, but crime in those states is worse than in PA.
