It's that time of year(harvest season) for me to start carrying the SR22 full time. I never know where I'll be or what I'll be doing but the small size makes the SR22 a good choice. Figured I'd better blow the cobwebs out and refill the magazine yesterday. To be honest my choice of time put the sun at the most pesky position causing the sights to blur and making the sight picture fuzzy BUT we don't usually get the chance to have things perfect when we desire. I simply couldn't hit the 'center mass' swinger @ 50 yards--no surprise. Under 25 yards, I was on it 100% and even delivered some double taps. Smaller stuff is going to have to be within 10-15 yards with good light--there's a reason I have dot optics on the 22/45's I shoot regularly.
For a small frame 22 pistol, the SR22 is surprising in it's functionality and no slouch for accuracy.
