Blackhawk
I picked up an OM Super Blackhawk that had been through a fire. I wanted to salvage what I could off it. The serial number of the gun is 80-19087. There was no blue left on it and some pitting covering most of it. Screws were siezed in but I was able to remove the gripframe and hammer along with a couple small parts which all appear to be completely salvageable for use on a custom application. They could use blasting in some of the nooks and crannies and maybe some polishing depending on your taste due to the pitting. The pitting is so evenly spread across entire surface it resembles a rough casting more than pitting so would look good refinished. Someone prior to me must have wire wheeled the rust off on exterior surface, although upon removing grip frame and hammer there is some in areas previously out of reach. Was gonna try to save the trigger too but some careful drilling still has yet to free it. Believe it or not the barrel looks usable although I have no way to seperate it from the serial numbered frame and unsure whether a part under pressue like that should be reused after sustaining the heat of a house fire. So, if someone wants the gripframe and hammer with spring and strut along with a couple of bonus small parts, I will part with them for $56 shipped. If someone wants the rest of it and are an Oregon resident I could likely ship it direct for the shipping cost only. Some elbow grease may net you a usable OM Super trigger, firing pin, and maybe even a project barrel.
