Older Mini 14 Value???

Looking for some advice. Out of work struggling to pay bills. Parents have health issues and I am trying to help them out as well. So guns reluctantly have to go. I have a few things that I thought would be quick sells not moving. So I dig further into the safe.

I have a late 79 mini 14 stainless standard wood stock. Overall good condition. Wood very good. Metal never did receive that great of a polish from Ruger. It is shiny but some definite tool marks. I have a bunch of mags including three early unused law enforcement marked hi capacity. I also have a unused I believe 90 round drum floating around as well.

Probable best to break things up I figure. I just got no clue as to the value. Any advice would be appreciated.

Depends on how long you want to wait for the right buyer! Often times the extra 'goodies' are tantalizing to a potential buyer. If you're going for maximum bucks in the shortest amount of time, then I'd agree.. Sell the stuff individually.

Mini 14s are all over gunbroker, so you'd probably want to look there to see what's getting bid on and what's priced toooo high. I'd guess 550 or thereabouts for the rifle itself. SS seems to bring a little higher $$$ than the blued ones.

Anything before 1994 are considered "pre-ban" here in CT. I just sold my SS pre-ban Mini for $650.00, and that was priced about $150.00 lower to move it faster.

I'd say about 500 for the gun, 20-25 per mag if it's factory, maybe a slight bit more if they're the old ones that used to come in a white cardboard box. Not sure with the 90 round drum. At least 75 but I don't know what those bring at all. If you want to move it quick with max revenue then yes sadly break up the package. Those hi cap mags used to go for 100 each during the Clinton gun ban.

Lots of stuff I should of sold during the ban years. Thinking the mags should bring at least 50 or bit more. They are unused just don't have the boxes. The current manufacture 30 rounders from Ruger go for 50. These I would think would bring as much if not a little more with the old style Ruger logo.
