Hello, and thanks for stopping my my sale! I'm offer for sale an Old Model Ruger Blackhawk chambered in .357 Magnum. Of course, .38 Special ammunition can be safely fired as well. This gun is in excellent working condition and shoots well. I would not classify it as a "collector's item". I believe the grips and box are NOT original to the gun. Also, it didn't have a rear sight on it when I obtained it. I have installed a "peep" type rear sight. Also, there is a "ding" on the left/front side of the barrel. The ding is noticeable when you look for it. It does touch the muzzle/crown area and does not affect accuracy.
This gun has the original trigger/firing mechanism, and DOES NOT have the newer transfer bar safety system installed. It's not safe to carry this gun with a round under the hammer. This gun can be returned to Ruger at any time for a free transfer bar safety system installation. I am an individual not a dealer, and I have no way of accepting credit cards. Payment will have to be by Money Order. I will ship from my FFL in NEW MEXICO to your FFL in the Continental U.S.
In the third picture, where it looks like a big scratch, is really just a stray cat hair, I didn't notice when taking the photo. Sorry about that!
