Looking for a hammer spring for a 5 screw Smith and Wesson .38 spl. Circa 1909
I have tried Bobs gun parts and Numeritch and others, But no luck.
Any suggestions?

I have many, many hammer springs. You need the early flat spring correct?
Please send me the required length as there are subtle differences between frame sizes.

If you have a very early S&W they use an obsolete V-spring.

According to the Blue Book it was manufactured in 1909.
