I think you're being unrealistic my friend! 336 Cowboy .30-30's are scarce as hens teeth. I have one that has been tuned by Dave Clay and wears XS sights. I own several pre-safety mint 1894 .357's, but they as individuals are worth about half of what a mint original Cowboy .30-30 is on their best day. Good luck however....

Good to know...if pre-safety .357's are commanding a grand each...I'm sitting on a gold mine and didn't know it! Most of mine are mint and unmolested...they should even bring more wouldn't you think? Thanks for the info....also have a 24" Cowboy .45 Colt and a 20" Cowboy Limited in .45 Colt as well! Wonder what my two mint 336ER .356 Winchesters would bring?? Have two 1894's in .32 Magnum and two in .22 Magnum....I was also referring to a stock 336 Cowboy .30-30...not one that had been tuned...just stated I had one that had been...the other one I have is unfired and resides in the back of my safe. Again, good luck to you.
