No.1 scope rings

Hi All,

I am trying to find low 30 mm rings for my No.1. The medium Ruger rings leaves my scope bell with oodles of clearance and a poor cheekweld on the butt.

Any ideas?

I would try Alaska Arms though he does not show a low 30 mm its worth a try. Ruger list nothing.

I searched several years ago for low 30mm rings for a straight tube scope on a Ruger bolt gun and came up empty. I did not talk to Alaska Arms. Pls post here if you come up with anything. I'm afraid we are looking at a custom proposition.

I love the Ruger ring setup, but if you want to use something "else", you may need to pick up a different base so you can use whatever rings you want. Numrich Arms sells a Redfield two-piece setup that uses the dovetail front, windage-adjustable rear (or the other way around - can't remember), that fits the 1-S and 1-B I think.

Okay - It appears that Numrich Arms is out of that base. I can't even find the listing any more, which is weird because I was looking at it just a week or so ago.

Might work for what you need if you can stand not having the rib on there. I'm assuming you have a 1-B or 1-S, not a 1-V.
