Always liked Pahrump and the Mojave Desert area around there. A few 'cat houses' too. Would stay a couple nights in the area every trip out to visit relatives in CA. Either Terrible's or over in Primm at Buffalo Bills, according to which direction we were going. The kids loved the roller coaster thru the hotel. Drive into LV wasn't bad from there.
Good deal on the maxi, Wish I had the extra funds.
