I've come across a local listing for a NIB, NM 7 1/2bbl, .357 Maximum Blackhawk. I'm not real familiar with how valuable or rare these guns are. I do know that they're recalled (or will not be repaired by Ruger).

What's a reasonable price (East-Coast prices) for what's offered. Package includes gun, box and all included paperwork.

Please forgive any typos, as I'm on my BlackBerry.

Thanks for any info.

Hey Aqualung, greetings, been a while.............
as to the "price' depends on "buying OR selling" big difference,as well as "book, market, and auction...."
most I ever got for ANY .357 Max was $650 ,,,seen 'em higher over the years but have found them a LOT lower from time to time, last one just before Christmas, cost me $450..........one of my woodworkers offered me $100 over that and it was "gone".....sooooooomy feeling is in between that $550-650 mark, more in an auction and someone NEEDS (pucker factor) the number of THAT gun..........

I'd say a bit more than rugerguy's numbers. I'm thinking up in the $700+ range for a NIB one with all the stuff. A quick check on GunBroker's completed auctions substantiates my thought. My 7 1/2" I paid $600 for I think, maybe $550. The 10 1/2" on lay-a-way I'll have $650 in and those are both without boxes for 95% revolvers. $450 for a max? I'd buy all I could find at that price!

I'm on the east coast, north east if that matters any.

Thanks guys.

It's at a local auction and I am curious to see what it goes for. If there isn't much interest, I might bid on it.

I'll let you guys know.

I sold a NIB BNM7 to a retired farmer from Pa. last year for $750 and he came looking for me...just saying

Thanks Prince! I would say 7 1/2" NIB, $650-750, just depends on how bad ya want to sell it/buy it! 10 1/2" NIB, add $25.00. Two digit guns, NIB.........well, add as much as $200.00 more, depending upon, once again, how bad ya want to sell/buy it! Dan, next time ya want to sell a NIB @ $650.00, I'll take it! Or them, if ya have more than one! Ya can never have too many Maxi's

I have a few "New Models" tucked away.
