8" Dan Wesson 44 Mag. These pistols have one of the smoothest D/A triggers of any pistol I have ever shot. Don't see many around here. This one is mint. After cleaning, you can't tell it's ever been fired. LGS had it, took it on trade, but was getting NO interest on it, as frankly most don't even know what it is, at least around here. Had a couple duplicate caliber new model Blackhawk pistols I traded in. Just run of the mill stuff, a 357 and 44, both "shooter" grade. Got the DW and boot for the Blackhawks.

I have one just like it except factory wood grip and a vent heavy barrel. The frame on mine is also turning plumb colored, just the frame and nothing else. It is the most accurate revolver I own. At one time I had a scope on it and it was no problem to get 100 yard groups in the 1 1/2" to 2" range.

A buddy of mine has one just like that. He is a competitive shooter, and amazingly skilled. That particular gun is very very accurate in his hands.

I have a few Dan Wessons,They're great revolvers and have some of the nicest bluing/finish you can find on a factory gun! Just be careful, once you have one they tend to multiply :P

Always liked the D Wesson revolvers, like you said, some of the smoothest DA triggers out there.
