... Mini 14.
I'm not sure why but I have always wanted a Ruger Mini 14. Over the years I have looked at this rifle many times thinking that I would like to have one but never took the plunge. I did own a Stag AR 15 a few years ago and although it was a great rifle, I ended up trading it. Something about the Mini just seems more appealing to me than an AR.
Anyway, I finally took the plunge this evening and traded in a pistol that I don't use much for this new Mini. I also picked up a couple of extra factory mags and a case of PMC ammo. It came with free scope rings but I'm not sure yet if I will scope it or not. The factory sights look pretty nice although I haven't shot it yet. I'm hoping to go put some rounds through it within the next couple of weeks.
