New Mini-14

Just picked up a new Mini! I have not had one since 1987. The last one I had would hold minute of 8" paper plate at 200 yards,which wasn't bad for a mini I guess. The mini is one of the Duty weapons in my Dept. and the new ones have shot very well.
So I decided to get one. I got the stainless 5.56 with black stock and 20 rd Mag. I can't wait to get to Range and try it out.

Congrats on purchase. Bought the same a couple months ago. Hasn't missed a lick. Only issue I've had was rear scope mount loosened on last trip and haven't been back out with it to check grouping. Enjoy.

Congrats, I got a new RR not long ago. I have only put a few rounds through it so far but I really like it. Ran like a sewing machine.

I have one of the newer Ranch Rifles and the accuracy is probably better than I can shoot it. Was out shooting it this past weekend and can hit clay pigeons with almost every shot. Doesnt sound that impressive, but if you could see how terribly I shoot peep sights, you would think it was pretty good. I did experiment with the bushing kit and used the one that throws the brass from my loads about 6 feet.
