Hey all. I've lurked here on occasion for years, but decided to finally join. Only have one Ruger (at the moment), a P94DC .40 S&W. As a matter of fact, this was my first handgun purchase. It's a little too large for me to carry, so I recently purchased a HK VP9SK OR which is a phenomenal gun. Don't get me wrong, I love my P94, but just wanted something smaller and in 9mm. I have an older 1960s H&R 622 pistol, too, that was purchased new by my father and has less than 50 rounds through it. A few other toys here and there. Don't know what my next Ruger will be, but hope to learn about any potentials and make an educated decision when I do.

I grew up 26 miles from Michigan. I have proudly wore my Buckeye hat here in GA. Even when the first time I went into my local town, I always choose to live in the country, I read a bumper sticker, Dead Yankees Don't Lie. Yep I was one of those "damned Yankees". As time went on getting involved with sports because of my boys. One time while coaching 5th grade football I was asked by one of the players if I was from around here. I said no, his response , your a Yankee aren't you? I said yes, now drop and give me 10. Then as the season went on even a couple of the parents said to me I wasn't like most Yankess they knew. Then I told them I grew up shoveling yugo and walked with yugo on my boots to school. I was accepted as one of them from that time on but still wore my Buckeye hat. It is kind of like Sherman's philosophy about war being hell. Make it true hell and eventually we will WIN. Lol You know Sherman was a Buckeye too.
Editing... what is going on here. It changed the simple words the left no room for error of the "stuff " I shovel and the "stuff" on my shoes. When I posted it then looked at it changed it to "yugo" . I remember those Yugos and they were pretty yugo too. Lol so I guess it did well on the AI interpretation.

Referring to your last mention of "Yugos", if we're talking about the same "Yugos", and I think we are, my sister had one of them. Biggest piece of you know what there has ever been. Literally, something broke on it every day.

And even if you weren't still a Buckeye, I wouldn't hold it against you. There are plenty of times I don't want to be lol.
