Hello, I’m new to the forum. Just found it today.
I love Ruger Mini-14 factory folders. Like many people my liking of the Mini-14 is due to watching the A-Team as a kid.
I’m 33 now, so far I’ve owned only 2 mini 14s.
For now I just kept the new production stainless one.
Also a big fan of Colt 1911s, Browning Hi Power, ARs, AKs, Battle rifles.
Mainly like the old school steel and wood stuff.

I used to own Mini 14's I even had one in Full auto. Then I go thinking what happens when I burn the barrel out?
So I sold it and went to the AR platform. What caliber do you want your AR to be? They make them in lots of flavors.
You can also take your 5.56/.223 AR remove the Bolt Carrier, then replace it with a .22 LR kit that comes with a mag and shoot 22lr. Also if you want to put a suppressor on your AR, its easy screw off your flash suppressor, screw on your 5.56/.223 suppressor. replace it with the caliber you want You want to change to a different caliber? Remove you upper receiver replace the upper with and you are good to go!
The AR-15 lower receiver can be converted to a variety of calibers, including:
  • 223 Remington
  • 22 Nosler
  • 224 Valkyrie
  • 6 mm ARC
  • 6.5 Grendel
  • 6.8 SPC
  • 300 Blackout
  • 300 HAMR
  • 30 Remington AR
  • 7.62 x 39 rounds
  • 350 Legend
  • 450 Bushmaster
  • .458 Socom

I have owned a couple of Mini 14's including a full auto Mini 14, but realized it is not easy to change the barrel.
So I now own AR's. I have 3 original AR15's (SP1) and others including one in .308
