Hello folks. Located in Boise/McCall, Idaho. I have been an outdoorsman my whole life. I have been collecting firearms with predominantly Shiloh/C-Sharps along with high end 1911s from one man shops. Hoping to learn more about the SA platform and try to pry some Bowens, Huntingtons, ect from some safes. Cheers, Gerald.

Hello Wildhorse, I've lusted after the Shiloh Sharps, but a couple of years ago I picked up a Pedersoli 1874 Sharps in 45-70. My bucket list trip is to Montana for the Quigley Down Under shoot. Have you been there?

And I absolutely love the 1911 format, but more the work-a-day versions. No experience with the high-end custom models.

And there is definitely a lot of single-action information to be had here.
 
I have not been. I myself have always wanted to voyage to the event. Looks like a great time with some good folks.
