I have heard the new Gunsite Scout stock being referred to as "composite" and also referred to as "polymer"
Can anybody verify what the new stock is made of?
Wondering if it is a plastic injection molded type, or a true composite, fiberglass, Kevlar, etc.....

As far as the review on Gunblast it seems like a decent stock. But I would also want to know how well it is made.

I am hoping that it is a proper fiberglass stock. If it is, I really hope they will use it for an all weather 77.

UPDATE..... I called Ruger direct and asked them about the stock.
It is NOT a true composite stock (fiberglass, Kevlar, etc....) turns out it is indeed.... PLASTIC. Not sure this is a total deal breaker for me, as this plastic stock looks pretty impressive from the pictures and videos that I have seen.
Perhaps they are calling it a composite stock is because it is made up of two parts, plastic and aluminum. (It has a pretty impressive looking aluminum bedding block molded in.
