Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase.
I fell in love with GP 100s years ago and have way too many to take to the range at one time. The 4 inch is an awesome shooter, but then so are all the others. I am trying to get every length of GP made and I think I only have a couple to go. As well as some 7 shot GPs too. Oh, be careful of the little brother SP 101. They are a lighter 5 shot revolvers but are as much fun to shoot as the GP.
I'm a "fixer" so I had to take mine apart and polish the moving parts in the trigger assembly and change the springs to get a smoother action for shooting. To say that makes a difference in shooting a fine gun is an understatement.
