I have an "as cast" brass frame that is NOT "MR3-DB" marked. It was from the Stan Terhune (Ruger VP) collection. It is only marked with an "A" on the right side at rear bottom, not right side at front bottom as MR3's were. This is $400 postpaid. I sent one to Chad Hiddleson, and he plans to write an article about it later. It was from the company that did not get the bid to make the 1970's brass frames (NO documentation, sorry). Email me at "[email protected]". Thanks, Neil

Ruger44fan,

Interesting!

"as cast" means none of the five screw holes drilled and tapped?

What grip size would fit?

Thanks.

Sorry that was vague. I can send a photo. It is all machined to fit any old model frame. The as cast part is that the sides, triggerguard, front and back straps are as cast. It is the same as an MR3-DB that Ruger sold but it is a sample sent to them by I believe Alcoa as it only has an A stamped on it. Also, I am not used to this forum so I was slow to respond. My direct email gets looked at more often: [email protected]. Thanks, Neil
