Need some help on shooting glasses that will not fog up

Hi,
I have been trying to find a good set of shooting glasses that will not fog up on me when I am shooting and have bought a few that say there anti fog and still fog up, any members have /own any that do not fog up in indoor humid ranges.

We had this trouble with the safety glasses at my last job.

You can get anti-fog solutions to put on your glasses and these really work! They're available in both spray bottles and in little towelette packet thingies. We kept both kinds in stock as some people liked one and some liked the other.

I'm sure you can get the same thing at an optician's, or maybe even at drugstores, Walmarts, and so forth. If all else fails, check industrial supply houses. The stuff's not that expensive and I used it on my shooting glasses many, many times. It works, great stuff!

I have the same problem. What I finds that helps somewhat is sliding your glasses just a bit farther down your nose than you would normally wear them. This allows more of the perspiration to vent up before contacting the lenses and reduces the amount of fogging.

I've never tried the anti-fog spray but it sounds like a good idea.

Try cat crap. Not the real thing. It's the name of a really good anti-fog product.

All you need to do is spread some dishwashing liquid on the lens and rub it in. No water, just the dish soap, and voila, no more fog.

Parts of the U.S. Army issue Rain-X wipes now for use during marksmanship training. It's better than nothing, but it still sucks (like most everything else issued). I know that's not the product recommendation you were looking for but at least you know one to avoid.

Clean your lenses with hair conditioner or most shave creams. I think the softener in shave creams is conditioner. A cheap can of Barbersol in your kit will do the job. Good luck, jack

We used to spit in our dive masks to stop the fog. I presume it would work for glasses. It is down right cheap also.

They make a product called plexus it's for motorcycle helmet shields that works pretty good. I use it on my glasses and motorcycle windshield. I like it.

Keep the Playboys off the shooting bench and see if that helps.... :D
