All,

I am out of town for work and stumbled across a non-prefix No. 1. I don't have my Clayton book with me and El Numero Uno's trusty website is down. So I need some help.

It's a 243, 26" barrel, AH forearm with full wrap-around checkering, no sights. How rare is it? I think this is an uncommon configuration but I cant remember.

Thanks,

SR

Yes, it is somewhat rare with only 825 243's made and 75 with AH forearm and no sights, assuming it hasn't been altered I any way.

Yes, a 243 BH is a good one to snatch up! (ANY non-prefix BH is a good find)

Luckily, I already have one, or I'd be very envious/jealous! ;-)

(which is to say, you should get it if you have any interest in collectible early No. 1s. And if you're not interested in buying it, you should let others here know where it is)
