Happened last night and shooter(s) escaped. Somewhere between 11 and 16 shots fired. Two teenaged gangsta's dinged. Vehicle involved found abandoned 25 miles away from the scene. Went down just 3-4 blocks from the city cop shop. Things are going south in a hurry around here.

Possibly. There's been an upsurge of questionable citizens lately. Blacks (both directly from Africa and North American) have been real busy. There's also the drug transport corridor. Drugs headed for northeast MO and southeast Iowa use US 63.
Andy and Barney Phife don't work real hard at apprehending dopers. Just a couple years back, a dope deal in the same town resulted in several people shot including a 3 year old and a pregnant female. That was a drug related incident involving a black from KCMO area. Andy and Barney let him get well beyond their jurisdiction before giving chase to the county line. :(
Definitely becoming a place to not 'go light' (as in a 5 shot revolver and no reload).
Country roads are becoming the preferred drug deal location.
