Since the rainy stretch ended it has gotten really busy here.... Mostly bears running through. I have some interesting footage of several sows and cubs, and a few boars as well....
Here are more screen shots of that sow with 3 cubs that came through on friday (sept 26).....
For context this is my driveway... about 100 yards or so south of the yard. It runs east/west (basically), at this point but curves north just 25-30 yards west of the camera, and goes straight to the cabin. This is the trail I take to get down to the river (when I used to go to the river). I use this trail a lot for wood cutting, and is the trail I use to get to the chopper pad, and how my freight gets hauled in, in the summer....
I'm stitching clips together but it will take a bit to get them uploaded....
I suppose that with most the salmon out of the river they are hitting the creeks, for those last few (jello) salmon.... (I'll try and get footage of my dog fishing the creeks... she's munching on a carcass right now...)
