As I mentioned earlier on the Bisley 7.5" 44 SPL thread, my Bisley along with a few others had the gray laminate grips put on them. I noticed a few other Bisley models offered for sale with gray grips also. A 44 mag and a 44 special. I think all these guns were put together around the March/April timeframe. It looks like Ruger has since gone back to the Red laminate on the blued guns. The gray laminates usually go on the stainless guns. It could have been a mistake,maybe trying something new or maybe the factory ran out of red laminates for a while. Who knows? I personally like the red grips better on the blued guns.
