Is there a kit available to allow removal of the right side safety lever on a Ruger Mk 4 22/45 Lite?

Thks

Ruger provides a small washer in the box with the pistols. You remove the small hex head bolt that retains the right side lever, remove the lever itself, place the washer over the stub of the shaft and replace the bolt.

Your owner's manual (you did read it, right?) tells you how to do this.

I read one of the owner's manuals several weeks prior to buying the gun. Probably just did not remember that item. However, there was/is no washer that came with the gun. Will contact Ruger and get the part. Thanks for the reply!

It is a very tiny part and can be easily over-looked. I'm sure Ruger will make it right for you. It's really an easy observation as to how it goes in place.

Indeed it is a tiny part and could easily be overlooked in the original shipping box. It was packed in a small plastic bag with an instruction sheet and was placed under the cardboard divider in the shipping box along with the lock. If the OP has the original box he could check to see if it's still there. If he purchased the pistol used and/or didn't get the box then, yes, Ruger will certainly send him one on request.
