Missing member-Happy

A member here user name Happy used to post mainly F/S ads for holsters.
I haven’t seen any ads lately and a search of posts shows nothing since 2020.
Anyone know anything?

I’ve noticed his absence as well. Possibly a victim of Wu-Flu, based on the timing of his disappearance.

Happy/Robb is/was from NY. I have bought lots of holster from him over several years. Not until you mentioned it, did I notice his absence. Hope he is still with us. I would love to see what he still has in his basement.

Haven't seen any posts from him on S&W forum, either. He usually had a constantly running list on there...

That's the thing about forums, heck any social media. We tend to not be connected to people off the platform and if something happens to them in the physical world they just go quiet and we usually don't know what happened. I think about the old timers that I used to talk to on alt.guns on Usenet from the late 80s until the early 2000s. I know most of those guys are gone. Lots of questions I can think to ask them now that I didn't think of back then. Even more recently, I'll see an older post here or on other similar forums, and since it's interesting I'll click on the author to see what else they've done and more often than I like notice that their profile says last seen a couple of years ago.

If a forum's history is ever lost, a lot of irreplaceable information will be lost. Many people active on these forums have been shooting since the 60s or even 50s. That knowledge being recorded in places like this is very valuable.
