Mini 14 Value?

A local shop has a used 580 series Mini 14 .223 (2009 serial #, basic ranch rifle configuration), stainless with the Ruger plastic stock, in what appears to be nice shape. Rings are installed, and it comes with 1 5 round magazine- nothing else. Price is $530 before tax, and this shop doesn't haggle. Is that price good, bad, indifferent? Thanks in advance for your advice.

A bit high around here for a used Mini. Not much more than that for a new one.

Here in So Cal it would go pretty quick at that price. We're all a little nuts out here anyway.

Something around $450 here in the upper midwest.... they have actually dropped a little in the last year or so.

You will see some with higher asking prices at the shows, but the same guy has the same gun at the same price show, after show, after show......
