Sent my Mini 14 back to Ruger for a cracked gas block on Nov 19. Got it back Tuesday 12/1 with a new gas block assembly, recoil spring, and they fixed something in the bolt that I didn't know was broken. Even got a nice new box and owner's manual.
That's out and back in 11 days, including two weekends and a holiday. Absolutely fantastic service.

"Lyme disease ground zero" my daughter thanks you. :?
Sounds like it's good as new. It's good to know if mine ever has trouble it's liable to get fixed right.

Mine had jamming problems. Sent to Ruger in New hampshire. returned to me in 5-7 days with new bolt, new slide, new slide stop. they replaced the whole inners of the gun and it;s worked great since then. Excellent!

I recently picked up a new 10/22 and day 1 at the range the rear sight fell off, literally slid right out of the dovetail. Not 5 minutes on the phone and they had a new and better one on the way, I was happy.

I had to send a Mini-14 back due to the barrel being out of index. Since the entire rifle had to go in for work anyway, I also requested that they fit me a spare firing pin for it (at my own expense).
Ruger not only paid for shipping both ways, they refused to charge me for the extra firing pin, had my gun back in my hands in about two weeks, enclosed a letter of appology in the box "for my trouble", AND threw-in a new Ruger-marked wipe-down cloth.

Customer service just don't get no better than that.
