I have an ATI folding/telescoping stock on my Mini 14 and I would like to swap out the hand grip for something a bit slimmer, say the Magpul MOE grip.
I have seen pictures of Ruger Minis with the ATI and various aftermarket grips, so my question is twofold:
1. How much cutting/trimming/fitting is involved with making this swap?
2. Which grip do you buy to make the swap? Is it an AR15 grip or should I buy a grip intended for an AK.
Any suggestions / pictures of this kind of swap would be greatly appreciated.
