Midway came through

I finally acted quickly enough to beat the other buyers. Ended up with 400 hunting or just bangin steel bullets for my 6.5. It likes 129 grainers and I jumped on 200 soft point and 200 polymer tipped blem bullets.
Looking forward to turning out some 'make me smile' loads when time allows.

I keep a list of things I want handy,, and whenever I get Midway notices etc,, and sales etc,, I see if I can make up an order to fulfill my needs. Judicious shopping can get good stuff at fair prices. Especially when free shipping is offered.

Yes, it was a 'good deal'. Many 6.5 bullets are difficult to find 'in stock' so I stock up with bullets I know work well in my rifle when they become available. As hunting season approaches, I'll be shooting 1-5 rounds per day 5-6 days per week so the difference between 25-30 cent bullets and 60-80 cent bullets adds up quickly.

Dern it,, I found I needed to order some bullets & such for my DIL & son. I just cruised the bullet selection, and ordered a bunch of the blems from Midway myself.
