Some years ago, I picked up a straight-stocked 20" barrel Marlin at a yard sale (though not, alas, at a yard sale price). I bought a 16" 'Trapper' barrel from Numrich Arms many years ago, and intended to put it on the first straight-stock Marlin I could afford, but this gun is too nice to mess with. It's an early 50's make, not drilled & tapped for scope.

Sweet! Lever guns are supposed to have straight stocks, IMO.
