Not sure my LGS had one "new in the box" unfired for $499.00 and missed it .

They have been steadily climbing the last two years. My first one was two years ago and I paid $259 (blued). Two weeks ago I paid $425 (stainless). I've watched them go from $300 to $400 in two years. If you really want it, heck.... go for it!
Just bought one for $399 plus tax at a gunshop with only a slight cylinder turn line, otherwise flawless. When buying online, the shipping and transfer fee really add to the price. I always enlarge the pics to 400% or larger when looking at items online and review the pics very carefully. If there is only one pic, I don't bid.
