What grips do you guys suggest for the Mark111? I know it depends on how they feel to me but I was wondering which ones are the most popular. It will give me a starting place anyway.
thanks

On my SS MKIII I have the Cocobolo Hogue grips with thumb rest--no checkering. Although checkering has its purposes, I think the grips look better smooth. Purely a matter of personal preference. The fit and finish are excellent and the thumb rest is comfortable. I also spent another couple of bucks and got the stainless screws. This package makes the gun look and feel good.

I use my MK-III for shooting steel and pins. I don't want it slipping in my hand as these are timed events. So I use Hogue's with a thumb rest. Here's a picture. It's not pretty but it's a working pistol.

Are the grips for the Mark11 and Mark111 the same? Are your grips #82060?

Never mind. LOL I found a pair this afternoon and put them on my Mark111. Just sittin in the chair they feel real good. LOL Thanks for the help with them.

On a side note how do you go about getting into that kind of shooting?

thanks
Gary
