I have two Mark I target pistols (adjustable sights, thumb rest grips). I sent one back to Ruger and had it re-blued and of course they did all the springs and so on. It is beautiful. I wonder about doing the other- they are only original once, so maybe even a little rough it is better to leave it alone? Works that way with old cars, not sure about old guns. Thoughts?

I think I would leave the other the way it is.
Shoot and enjoy them both.
How about some pics of them?

The Mark I's aren't in such high demand that an "all original" one would command a significantly higher price. Maybe if it was never fired, but not if used.

I'd say...do what you want to it. It's your gun.
