EGW or bust.... Get extra taps as these receivers are HARD. The EGW is longer than the Weigand and allows for better ring spacing. The weejee-tinny is, well, tinny.....and reminds one of the TV commercial for the Clapper. Clamp-ON, Clamp-OFF.....
Was hoping not to have to drill and tap but if that's the best option I'll bite the bullet, and maybe use trip as an excuse to get my barrel threaded at the same time.
IOR Valdada makes a clamp on as well that looks to be sturdier that either the Weigand or the Leatherwood, and it's about twice as much. I just can't find any information on it anywhere other than the Valdada website.
