Here's mine:
I didn't notice this for a couple of years. Very lightly scratched into the bottom of the frame opening is this: MNO6209020656. I have no idea what it means, but it looks like its been there a while. Maybe a clue as to its history, maybe nothing. It is hard to see, and can't be felt by running a finger over it, and it is out of sight unless the cylinder is open:
I was working a trade with a forum friend that didn't work out, but left me with a hankering for a Martini-Henry rifle, so officially that is what I'm looking for. I have my DVD copy of Zulu waiting. But I am willing to consider any trade, especially for something old and cool.
Not really interested in a sale, I would just waste the money on bills. Please feel free to make a trade offer, I will not be offended.
This is an unconverted .38 S&W caliber "British Victory". It has plenty of dents and dings, picked up in honourable service to the Crown, as well as plenty of stampings. No modern import marks, though. It parted with its lanyard over the years, and I'm not sure the grips are correct, but they look right. The grip screw is too long, and I will try to find one that is better - I just didn't want to take all new pictures.
