LCP II Question

Is it safe to carry the LCP II with a round in the tube? The reason I ask is the manual says not to load a round till ready to fire. I wondered if that notice was because of no external safety.

Sure, no different than carrying a Glock.

Yep, no matter if I'm carrying in a DeSantis pocket holster or my Fobus OWB holster I always have one in the chamber.

I carry mine with a round in the tube and it's my pocket carry gun. I wouldn't say it's safe for everyone but for me it is. :lol:

That suggestion in the manual is just lawyer speak to CYA.

Guess I will soon get to find out. Ordered one this afternoon. My LGS didn't have one in stock. Any luck I will have it later next week.

Carried mine on 2 5 day drives from FL to NV and back again. 7+1 no safety, Sticky holster on my right hip. No issues.
