LCP 22 Magazine capacity problems ?

Has anyone experienced problems with loading the LCP 22 magazines it seems every time I go to refill the mag's, they hold a different count ?? This time I "may" get 10 rounds into the mag., and next time the same mag. may only accept 8 or 9 rounds ! Anyone else ?? I have tried & tried, with no explanation as to why it's happening !! ANYONE !!!?? Thanks ; Jim

Stiff spring not unusual on newer mags.
They work themselves out.
Maybe use a mag loader and/or load them full and let them sit for a few weeks.

Not with the .22, but with the .380. I have 2 standard magazines and 2 extenders. The extenders are fine, but the standards only hold 5 without difficulties, not 6.

Possibly the mag needs cleaning, and then a very light coating of oil on the inside of the mag, and mag spring and follower. If the mag will not disassemble, use a flushing cleaner, then a light spray oil for the inside of the mag, then allow the oil to drain out for a day. Plus, you could always contact Ruger for advise.

You might try tapping the baseplate of the magazine after each round. I don't use oil on magazines, but I do spray "dry-film" on the springs and inside of the body.
