Do they make the LC9 in the stainless model yet.Has any body seen any ?

They do NOT. You can look on Ruger.com to see that. The only variant to the all black LC9 is the Pink Frame Black Slide version. You could always duracoat it silver.

With the way Ruger is struggling to manufacture enough guns for the demand it might be a while before they consider making variants on established pistols. All I can say about my black LC9 which is beginning to show a little holster wear on the sharp edges of the slide. That's what happens to a carry pistol that a person really likes. I like it that way. Looks more comfortable now.

Can the slide be polished like some do on the barrels?

Of course. Polish yours and post a pic. I'd recommend some carnuba wax on that bare metal...

Can the slide be polished like some do on the barrels?

The slide is hardened alloy and not stainless so while you could polish it, seems to me like you would have to keep polishing it routinely to prevent oxidation. It's not going to be like stainless steel.
