I have been following the LC9 hammer and trigger bar mods on here and wondered if the LCP trigger bar could be modded in a similar way to remove the slack and shorten the trigger travel? I ask because the trigger bar on the LCP looks just like the trigger bar on the LC9, and if it works on one, why not the other?
I don't think there is enough room to actually drill another hole for the trigger pin on the LCP like is done on the LC9 mod. It would probably require brazing the original hole up and re-drilling, or manufacture a new bar from a similar metal.
I didn't see where it was possible to order a replacement trigger bar from Ruger. They must have removed it from the order list at the same time they removed the LC9 trigger bar. If anyone has a contact where I could purchase a couple of LCP trigger bars, please post the info for me.
