LC9 and couldn't be happier.... pics added.

Well I picked mine up this morning and after a cleaning, went out and got the feel of the LC9. I like it, and can't say one bad thing about it. I have owned many brands in the past such as Glocks, Colts, Springfield's, S&W etc.

This is what Glock owners have been screaming for, and Glock never listened. Thank you Ruger for the LC9, it is just what I've wanted for many years now.

Thanks Lateck, thought I would post up the pics.

My first 8 rounds were a bit low, and then the next 7 were a bit not to my liking. I discovered that I need my glasses on... ah there now, I can see my sights clearly now, and the target is a bit fuzzy should have gotten the Crimson Trace for this.

But the more I shot, the better it seemed my group got on this target. I only had about 80 rounds to conduct my first range session, so I only shot at 7 yards (21 feet) which I consider a reasonable SD distance. But after this initial trial, more ammo is what the doctor orders.

The LC9 did exactaly what it was designed to do .It's a self defence gun .It and an SR1911 are next on my wish list along with a CZ-75B for target shooting .All of those hits except for a few down low are most likely one shot stops with the right ammo and even the low ones are leathal given time .

I just wish Ruger didn't put all those redundant safeties on the pistol to sell it in the communist states. If anything they should have offered two models, one with that costs more and one without at a reduced price.

I cant see how anyone could have a A/D with the long trigger pull at six to seven pounds and hopefully just uses safe gun handling and storage.

I admit the LC-9 is a great looking pistol except for the loaded chamber indicator and it functions and shoots well. The one I own has a excellent trigger and is very accurate.

Phila PD, the loaded chamber indicator can be taken care of with a drumel if that is a problem, and I don't use the safety to lock anyway, it just says down.

Just bought me another 200 rounds to head out with, either in a bit, or tomorrow.
