A youngish couple were in town buying school clothes for their high school age teen age son. After several selections, the wife asked her husband, "Shall we have his picture made now, or wait 'til some other time?"

"We'd better go ahead and do it now, while his pants still fit," replied the husband.

With my granddaughter it is shoes. She will be 12 in a month and already she is wearing a womens size 10. For awhile my wife could wear her like new hand me downs.
