Kimber 1911 Camp Guard RMEF 10MM

I was attending a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet with my brother a few years back in Missoula and talked him into buying this 10mm. I told him he would never regret it and if he faced any heat at home, I would gladly purchase it from him to appease that pain.

Long story short, it ultimately ended up coming home with me. I've taken it to the range all of one time since I received it. It's a really nice gun and shoots extremely well but I'm just a 45acp gun when it comes to the 1911. I have pulled it out multiple times to take it to the range and then don't. I don't have a lot of shooter guns so if it's not a collectible Ruger and I don't shoot it there isn't much reason to hold onto it.

Basically, new condition with original box, paperwork, and one mag.

I can also hand deliver this to anyone coming to the Ruger Display show in Nampa Idaho the weekend of Jan 4-5, 2025, and save you the shipping cost.

The only reference on recoil I can provide is between it and my Les Baer in 45acp. The Baer is a 4" barrel and an alloy frame so not as heavy as the Kimber in 10mm. The day I took the Kimber to the range I also took the Baer. I would say the 10mm was a little stiffer but not a lot. I'm not sure I could have told you which one I was shooting if given a blind test. I was shooting handloads a friend gave me out of the 10mm that were 180 grain, and he had them noted as 1100-1150 fps. I was shooting factory 230 FMJ out of the 45.

I tried to PM you, but you do not have enough posts to send one to. I checked my shipping FFL's list of states they do not ship to, and PA is on that list so it would ship from me with my driver's License.
