To be courteous to other sellers,

When you sell something, you can edit it to say it is sold BUT YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO A REPLY WHICH SENDS IT TO THE TOP OF THE FIRST PAGE AND MOVES ALL THE OTHERS THAT ARE FOR SALE DOWN. Think about it a bit and you'll see that doing that hurts all the other sellers.

Admin, if this needs moved or put somewhere else, go ahead and do what needs to be done.

Yes, please just edit your TITLE to add the word SOLD ….. we’ve covered this and asked about it for years.

Just add SOLD …. Nothing more, nothing less please.

It’s still covered in the Rules I think. A “Sticky” at the top of the page.

Member Woody402 nailed it earlier today!

OK, I looked and looked and do not see how it's possible to edit a TITLE of an ad. Can you do a detailed explanation and make it a permanent post at the top of the page? All I see is an edit button on a recent post within the original ad.
Thanks

Click on the thread you started.
Click on “Edit” in the very first post you made to create that thread.
First item you see is: “Title”

At least thats how it works on my ipad and PC.

First off - I am not a moderator, just a guy that has has worked his way through learning the system

48flyer - Go to your original post and click the "Edit" button. When edited click "Submit". It should be on the lower right bottom of your post

FLUndertaker - That is covered in the Sticky RULES FOR POSTING CLASSIFIEDS: READ THESE BEFORE YOU POST

If you edit the original post it also opens the title for editing

I can only assume that anything posted before the transition to the new format is not available to edit. The option is simply not there.
This is why we will continue to see SOLD posts at the end of a thread.
Not sure if there is a setting that can be turned on by a moderator or not.
Hope this helps someone.
Thanks

That’s something I didn’t know.
In this case I’d hit “Report” which will bring it to the attention of all the Mods and Admin.
