An item in the news this morning has finally gotten me ready to fight. If anyone still believes we have liberty, read on. It really is time for a Revolution. Count me in.

The news item reported that in Florida, a government agency has arrested the parents of an 11 year old boy and his brother, both of whom have been taken into custody by "Child Services".

The offense?

The 11 year old boy was reported playing basketball in his own yard alone for over an hour. That's it. There was no report identifying what offense was committed by the brother.

This is over the top, even for the government we suffer under today. I remember as an 11 year old running my trap line, alone, early mornings before daylight along the river before schoo, and after school after doing chores on the farm. I remember hunting with my rifle even when younger than 11 years old, alone, driving a teams of horses , working in the fields, feeding cattle and hogs in the feed lots, cutting weeds with a scythe along fences, picking corn in the fall with a team and wagon, often alone for hours and even all day, etc., working on the farms where I lived helping the farmers.

I also remember driving an old Studebaker truck from the farm to school every day beginning when I was 11 years old when the one room school was about 6 miles from the farm. There were no school buses there then and the old stick shift Studebaker truck was better than walking or riding a horse in the winter weather.

I believe that if the government had tried to arrest the farmers who took me in when I was orphaned at age 9 where I lived a year at a time on each until I was 15, for the reason that I did things alone, the government agents would have been run off at the point of a shotgun.

That's what the parents of the 11 year old boy in Florida should have done.
